Taj Mahal
The Taj Mahal, one of the 7 Wonders of the World, was commissioned by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1631 as a Mausoleum for his favourite wife Mumtaz. It was built in white Indian marble and took 20,000 artisans 22 years to complete.
